The unbreakable bond between football academy pals Wes and Tricky shatters after a career-ending injury steers their lives into divergent paths. Their destinies collide once more when their disgruntled siblings rekindle a forbidden romance.
Wes, now a cocky club hero, uses indulgence to mask his shameful past, while Tricky, grappling with his failure to make it and the loss of his best friend, succumbs to a life as a prominent club hooligan. Samantha, a former pro-footballer turned nanny, learns of Tricky's story and, repulsed by Wes's attitude, resolves to bring him down.
In a captivating blend of comedy and drama, the men end up having to confront their past, with family loyalties and sporting success all to play for.
